Details

As a Host Family, you volunteer to open up your home to a small group of choir members and a chaperone. Host Families will provide meals, transportation and sleeping arrangements for kids Wednesday, November 12 - Friday, November 14.

Housing Guidelines:

Because the children stay in many different homes during their North American tour, it is essential that we provide them with a sense of stability and security. To ensure this, they are always housed with our adult chaperones.

Please read these important rules when hosting the children:

Children are never placed alone in a host home. They are always assigned in groups of two or more.

Boys and girls are never housed in the same home. However, our female chaperones may accompany boys to a host home. Please provide a separate room or sleeping area for the chaperone.

Children must not sleep in the same room as any member of the host family, including host family children.

The children are not comfortable sleeping alone. They are used to sharing beds and will sleep well with:

Two in a double bed, or

Three in a queen-size bed.

Single-person households are welcome to host. A same-sex adult chaperone and/or children will be assigned accordingly.

All host homes must be located within 30 minutes of the church to ensure the children get adequate rest and are able to arrive to the church on time.

Thank you for your willingness to open your home and provide a nurturing, secure environment for the children during their tour.
