Elijah - Find your Fit in God's Mission

Elijah said "yes" to God's call, and trusted His plan. He relied on God for meeting his daily needs and guiding his steps. Elijah and God had an intimate relationship, and he was strengthened by his communion with God and community with others. Elijah wasn't perfect but he was faithful. God did amazing things in and through Elijah, even in some very broken times of his life. Elijah stayed on mission to fulfill God's call. He was an Old Testament prophet that modeled what it looks like to be with God, be with others, and be sent. If God had a place for Elijah in His mission, then we can be confident that there is a fit for every one of us, as well.
